The WBTTA, in collaboration with Sports Authority of India ( ER) organised the first ever All Bengal Inter-Varsity Table Tennis Championship at SAI (ER) complex from 13-15 March,2008.
There was a very good response from the Universities and 10 Universities took part in the meet.
Burdwan University won the men's team title while Calcutta University took away the honours in the
Women's section.
Sumit Kundu of Burdwan won the Men's singles title and Payel Bose of Calcutta
emerged champion in women's singles.
West Bengal State & Inter District Table Tennis Championships 2008 was hed at ITC Hall, SAI, Salt Lake City, Kolkata from 29th October to 3rd November 2008. |
